Most of our equine patients are seen at their own home although we do get occasional visitors to our Methlick branch!  Routine visits are carried out during the week, 8.30am – 5pm but emergencies will be seen as soon as possible, whatever time of night or day. 

We carry out routine dental work which can be done at your horse’s annual vaccination at a reduced fee.  We also perform geldings and other minor surgical procedures as required. 

We have mobile digital x-ray which we can use to help diagnose certain problems in your animal, preventing the need for referral where possible.

We can perform faecal worm egg counts from your horse or pony.  These are carried out in house and we encourage owners to do this regularly so that optimal worming programmes can be devised to suit your circumstances. This is important to avoid overworming and should increase the effectiveness when you do administer a wormer. Please book these tests in advance so we can get a result to you as quickly as possible.
