As well as tending to sick animals and advising on herd/flock health we also offer a number of additional services including pregnancy scanning and bull fertility checks.  We take pride in offering a comprehensive and competitively priced farm animal service which is led by dedicated and experienced vets.

We work closely with our local SAC in Aberdeen and can collect samples from your animals to pursue a definitive diagnosis. The proximity of the laboratory enables most tests to be run quickly which is important so that treatment can be started without undue delay. As well as individual sick animals, we can sample groups of animals or whole herds to monitor freedom from disease, mineral status and metabolic profiles for energy and protein.

We are happy to discuss preventive medicine programmes and tailor these to meet the aims of your farming enterprise. The more background information you give us, the more specific our advice can be. There are a number of very effective vaccines to control key diseases in livestock. We have practical experience on most of these products and can devise a cost effective system to help you maximise the production from your stock.
